Chief Information Officer
Jim Rudnick joined Cascadia in 2018. He is an IT executive and management consultant whose 20+ year career includes experience with both dynamic start-ups and agent-of-change leadership within established organizations. Notably, he led efforts to build out some of the earliest commercial internet services in the Pacific Northwest.
Prior to joining Cascadia, he worked as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Navos, a community behavioral health non-profit serving King County, WA, providing residential treatment services for individuals of all ages, supported housing, outpatient services, addiction treatment services, and a Joint Commission-accredited inpatient hospital.
Jim has also served as IT Infrastructure Services Director at Standard Financial Group; Principal Consultant for the London-based global management consulting firm PA Consulting Group; Manager of Systems Engineering and Senior Systems Consultant for PacifiCorp; and Pacific Northwest Regional Operations Manager for VERIO. He was President & Founder of an angel-funded regional Internet Service Provider (ISP) that was acquired by Integra Telecom.
Jim holds an MBA from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Lewis and Clark College. He is a practitioner of ITIL Service Management, an industry-recognized best practice framework for managing IT, and is a Project Management Institute (PMI) trained Project Manager.
Originally from Lincoln, Massachusetts, Jim lives in West Linn, OR with his wife Shannon, his son Charles, a senior at Portland State University, and his daughter Nikki, a senior at West Linn High School.
