Laura Cohen, LCSW, ACSW

Senior Director of Community Support  Services

Laura Cohen serves as the Senior Director of Community Support Services. In this capacity, she is responsible for the programmatic oversight and fiscal viability of Cascadia’s Community-Based Services Division which includes homeless services, supportive housing, state and federal corrections programs, supported employment, residential case management, intensive case management, and wellness programming.

As a clinical social worker with 28 years of experience, Laura’s diverse background includes program development and program management within a variety of settings – mental health courts, juvenile probation, community mental health homeless services, psychiatric emergency services, and Federally Qualified Health Centers.

Prior to joining Cascadia, Laura served as the Multnomah County LEAD® (Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion) Project Manager. In this capacity, she was responsible for providing leadership, planning, coordination and oversight of the implementation of the LEAD® program.

Laura’s varied experiences have enabled her to better understand and appreciate the significant interplay between behavioral health, scarce community resources and the social determinants of health inequity. She has a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Loyola University, Chicago.
