Intern at Cascadia
Cascadia’s unpaid internships are for individuals interested in careers in community-based integrated health care. Internships are designed to provide mentorship, experiential learning, opportunities to develop new skills, and exposure to nonprofit management. Some interns will have specific job roles while others will have project-based responsibilities. While interns work under the direction of a single supervisor, they may have the opportunity to work with people throughout the agency.
As an intern, you’ll have:
- Cascadia orientation.
- Exposure to various departments/divisions within Cascadia.
- Access to training and workshops on topics including Mental Health First Aid, Gender 101, and Trauma-Informed Care.
- Mileage reimbursement, if the internship requires you to travel to multiple Cascadia sites.
All available internships (including observational medical rotations, clinical rotations, practicums, and internships) are posted in the job opportunities system. To filter listings, select “Internship” under “Position Type.” Postings are open until filled. Complete the full application process in order to be considered for a position.
Eligibility
All internships must be formally established with a university/college/training program within the community via an affiliation agreement/contract with Cascadia. If you are a university/college not listed below and would like to partner with Cascadia for internship placements, please contact peopleandculture@cascadiahealth.org.
