Tiffany Blackmon
General Counsel
Tiffany joined Cascadia in July 2024 as the organization’s first General Counsel. In this new role, Tiffany is available to provide legal advice, assist with legal research, help interpret policies and regulations, assist with contract reviews and negotiations, and provide support for other legal needs.
Tiffany has worked extensively in the disability field, from teaching adults with disabilities to practicing disability law, and she is excited to use this background to provide trainings on disability-related topics such as reasonable accommodations and the Americans with Disabilities Act. She is also able to provide trainings and other resources on legal-related topics like civil rights issues, reasonable force, confidentiality and mandatory reporting.
Prior to joining Cascadia, Tiffany served as a career law clerk to a federal judge, handled medical malpractice, personal injury, premise liability and construction defect cases as an insurance defense lawyer, and worked with hundreds of individuals with disabilities in disability practice. Outside of work, Tiffany’s three kids keep her busy, and she enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, baking, and serving on the Board of the Junior League of Portland.
