Connections App Brings New Layer of Support for Clients
Did you know Cascadia Health offers a mobile app to help clients with an additional layer of support in recovery?
Last year Cascadia, in partnership with CHESS Health, launched the Connections mobile app to further help individuals who live with substance use disorder. Since then, the tool has been successfully introduced, helping clients in their recovery journey. Read on to learn about the app and how it’s assisting those we serve.
What to expect from Connections
The Connections App offers 24/7 peer support through online discussion boards and a team of Chess Health-certified peers, along with video meetings and different self-paced resources.
It’s meant to offer an additional layer of support between appointments or for folks who want some support but aren’t ready for or interested in other programming aimed at substance use disorders.
The app is available in English and Spanish and requires a smart phone and some comfort navigating the simple interface.
As of July 2025, Cascadia has helped 90 clients sign up with the Connections app, and users like the Chess peer team, the connection with others in recovery, and the on-demand support.
Connections provides:
- 24/7 peer provider support
-
Moderated discussion forums
-
Virtual support meetings
-
Crisis support
-
Educational resources
-

-

Cascadia is able to offer this app FREE, so current clients can get access to Connections through a simple sign-up process.
