#NHCW24: Powering Communities Through Caring Connections
Every August, the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) sponsors National Health Center Week (NHCW) to celebrate and increase awareness of America’s 1,400 Community Health Centers (CHCs).
National Health Center Week is an opportunity to highlight the commitment and passion of Community Health Center staff, board members, and supporters who make it possible to provide quality, comprehensive healthcare services to more than 31.5 million patients across nearly 15,000 communities annually.
Quick facts: In 2021, Cascadia Health was awarded Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Look-Alike status by the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA). Cascadia delivers whole health care – integrated mental health and addiction services, primary care, and housing – to promote hope and support the well-being of the communities we serve.
Cascadia Health operates four health centers, including Garlington, Plaza, Woodland Park, and the new Talbert Health Center. Each health center provides crucial mental health, primary care, and substance use disorder services (and more) to the more than 8,700 individuals and families across Multnomah and Clackamas counties. We are thankful to our amazing staff, board, and community partners who make possible this important work at each health center.
