When women support women, amazing things happen.

Heart builds a circle of supporters, artists, and storytellers around our shared goal to improve access to mental health care for all women. Heart is driven by the idea that empowering the whole woman elevates the whole community. Heart is a women’s giving circle for individuals giving $100 or more annually.

Heart is a signature annual giving circle open to all with an annual contribution of $100 or more. We are a small but growing group of individuals focused on improving access to mental healthcare for all women. The Heart Giving Circle culminates in an annual event to bring our community of supporters together and explore the intersection of health and art, gain further understanding around mental health challenges and help reduce the stigma of mental illness.

The goal of the Heart is to promote women as leaders and philanthropists. We do this by celebrating our shared values, coming together, and empowering other women to live their best lives. We practice self-care.  We build our capacity for empathy. And we raise awareness and create action around critical issues related to mental health.

In the short term, our goal is for 100 women to join us at a $100 giving level to ultimately raise $10,000 to support the women Cascadia serves. Our long-term goal (over the next five years) is to have 250 active Heart Giving Circle members.

Cascadia serves approximately 9,000 women of all ages every year. More than half of these women are living at or below the poverty level, earning 50% Medium Family Income (MFI) and struggling to meet basic needs. 5,102 women access Cascadia’s mental health outpatient services on a monthly basis.
