Back-to-School Bazaar Provides School Supplies to 75 Students

On August 25 and 26, Cascadia provided school supplies to 75 students at our Back-to-School Bazaar! Cascadia gave out school supplies including paper, notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, markers, and erasers to K-12 students in our Child and Family Program.

Other highlights of the bazaar included local hair stylists providing 20 free haircuts to students, the Sexual & Gender Minority Youth Resource Center (SMYRC) sharing resources, and Cascadia staff leading arts and crafts activities for kids in attendance.

Thank you to donors who shopped our Amazon Wish List and donated through our Facebook fundraiser in support of the drive. And thank you to our sponsors IQ Credit Union and Kaiser Permanente! With your support, we were able to set up 75 students for success this school year.
