Cascadia’s Chief Medical Officer Jeffrey Eisen Talks Mental Health on Henry’s Uncle Podcast
Henry’s Uncle is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping end the stigma around substance use disorder by educating people of all ages about the dangers of opioids and illicit drugs. Through their monthly podcast, Henry’s Uncle aims to:
- Educate people of all ages, especially adolescents, teenagers, and young adults about the potential dangers of opioids.
- Help remove the stigma around people who suffer from substance use disorder.
- Push for streamlined access for Medical Assisted Treatment (MAT), such as methadone, buprenorphine, and Vivitrol.
Cascadia’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Jeffrey Eisen, joined this month’s podcast and talks about his life mission of helping people with mental illness, the stigma around mental health, and what resources people can access when they are suffering from mental illness.
