Housing Employee Spotlight: Meet Jenny

Housing is a key component to Cascadia’s whole health care model and is critical to improving health outcomes for our clients. This month, we’re featuring some of our housing staff, who help keep our residential locations running smoothly.

Jenny has been working for Cascadia since 2017 as a Community Manager at Cascadia’s Lafayette Court and Prescott Terrace locations. For Jenny, each day is different and can go from being mellow to very hectic. Jenny often has to wear her accountant hat and assists with collecting rent and checking ledgers, and also spends time attending to maintenance requests. Keeping the property looking good for tenants and neighbors is something Jenny takes pride in, and every Thursday afternoon you’ll find her at the community meeting at Prescott Terrace.

“Many of our units are filled with people just getting off the streets. You can see the transition in them from survival mode to being able to focus on their physical and mental health. A stable home is sometimes its own cure.”
