Cascadia holds annual event serving clients & families

Our annual Back-to-School Drive was a big hit once again! On Friday, Aug. 9, at Garlington Health Center, we connected family clients with backpacks full of donated supplies, and we partnered with Rudy’s Barbershop to provide free haircuts. Staff in Cascadia’s Child & Family and Wellness programs worked together to organize and package generous donations of backpacks, school supplies, shoes, and clothing.

Signups: Nearly 100 school-aged kids signed up to pick up a brand new backpack filled with supplies and gently used clothing. 18 kids signed up for a free haircut from Rudy’s stylists.

Backpacks were donated by IQ Credit Union. Supplies and gently used clothing/shoes were donated from our Amazon Wish List and from community donation boxes at our four health centers.

At Cascadia, we help hundreds of at-risk kids and their families navigate mental health challenges, poverty, housing insecurity, and so much more. Thank you to the generous community for donating and supporting this cause. Your support makes this possible!
