Back-to-School Bazaar Provides School Supplies To More Than 80 Students

On August 24 and 25, Cascadia provided school supplies to more than 80 students at our Back-to-School Bazaar and local hair stylists provided free haircuts! Cascadia gave out school supplies including paper, notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, markers, and erasers to K-12 students in our Child and Family Program.

Other highlights of the bazaar included local hair stylists, Alycen Moussette and Aurora Gooch from Rudy’s Barbershop providing free haircuts to students, and hand lettering offered by Birdie Marmaduke, counselor with Child and Family Services

Thank you to donors who shopped our Amazon Wish List and donated through our Facebook fundraiser in support of the drive. We’re proud to show up for students in our community living with mental health challenges like ADHD, depression, autism spectrum disorder, and anxiety. Thank you to Angela Roach and our sponsors, iQ for Kids and Kaiser Permanente for your support!
