Vaccines at most of the events were administered inside the Cascadia COVID Response Team’s new medical RV.

Cascadia’s COVID Response Team administered 284 flu vaccines and COVID-19 boosters at several clinics in early November that were open to both Cascadia staff and the public.

The clinics, held November 2-7 at several Cascadia sites, were organized by Cascadia’s medical team. In total, the team administered 126 flu shots and 158 COVID boosters.

For most of these events, vaccines were given in the new medical RV that the Cascadia COVID Response Team was able to acquire with grant funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration. The fully equipped vehicle will allow the COVID Response Team to efficiently travel throughout the community to offer medical services like vaccines to those who need them.
