Cascadia Health Seeks Consumer Advisory Board Members

Cascadia Health is starting a Consumer Advisory Board, and we want to hear from you!
The new board guides Cascadia’s leadership on topics like community needs, equity, diversity, inclusion, culturally responsive services, quality improvement, and consumer voice.
You’re encouraged to apply if you:
- Have received mental health or addiction services at Cascadia Health for at least 3 months.
- Have used Cascadia mental health or addiction services in the past and are now in recovery.
- Are a family member of someone receiving Cascadia Health services.
- Are age 15 or older.
- Can attend meetings in-person or online (virtually).
What to expect
What will I do as a member of the board?
- Commit to at least one year on the board.
- Attend one meeting each month (meetings will last about 1.5 hours).
- Share feedback, your experiences, and discuss Cascadia services.
- Work with other Advisory Board members and Cascadia staff to improve care and services.
- Get your voice heard!
What will I get?
Are there benefits or accommodations for members?
- Members will be paid for their work.
- Cascadia will provide transportation to help members attend meetings in person.
- You will get training and build skills to help you be a successful member.
- You will get to know more about Cascadia, how we serve clients and community, and meet Cascadia leadership.
- You will help shape decisions, new services, and other improvements for Cascadia.
