Cascadia’s 2022 Culture of Caring Gala Raises More Than $350,000

On Thursday, October 20, Cascadia hosted its virtual 2022 Culture of Caring Gala. The night was a celebration of Cascadia’s services and mission, and it highlighted some of Cascadia’s incredible employees and clients. Together, we raised more than $350,000!

Pink Martini kicked off the evening with musical performances while folks “checked in” and got ready for the main event. Johnna Wells and KGW’s David Molko hosted the virtual program, which also featured performances by musician China Forbes, whose recent single Rise was released in honor of those struggling with mental health challenges.

The program included the celebration of this year’s Culture of Caring Award honorees: Eric C. Hunter, President and CEO of CareOregon, was recognized with the Health & Housing Award; and Oregon state Representative Tawna Sanchez was recognized with the Civic Engagement Award.

The gala also featured the stories and voices of Cascadia clients and employees, demonstrating the impact Cascadia’s services have on the lives of our clients and highlighting the incredible work done by our employees every day.

This year’s gala, presented by Comcast Business, was supported by over 40 corporate sponsors and many individual donors.

The gala was also broadcast a week after the original livestream on KGW.

Did you miss the gala? It’s not to late to watch!
