Celebrating National Health Centers Week

At Cascadia Health, health centers are at the heart of what we do, providing integrated health care services including mental health, substance use recovery, primary care, wellness programs, crisis intervention, permanent supportive housing, and more—all in one location to support the whole health needs of individuals and families in addition to embracing compassion, understanding and humanity for those we serve.

In honor of National Health Center Week (August 6 – 12), we want to highlight Cascadia’s four health centers and the services they provide to the community. Cascadia’s Health Centers include Garlington, Plaza, Clackamas and Woodland Park.

Health care is more than just bumps and bruises, it goes beyond the doctor’s office, and it reaches beyond the individual. And while these are all important components, we must also recognize how our health is affected by where we live, by the resources available to us, and the support networks in our communities. “Whole health” is what Cascadia’s four health centers address every day, keeping the whole person—and their whole lives—in perspective to provide the best possible care.

Thank you to all of Cascadia’s health center staff for the amazing care you provide our communities. Your tireless work and dedication is invaluable!

Community Health Centers serve as a beacon of strength, service and care in our communities. Throughout National Health Center Week, we encourage everyone to recognize the importance of health centers and their staff who help strengthen our health and local communities.
