Rockwood Respite Center opens after weather closure

In early April, Rockwood Respite hosted an open house to celebrate its re-opening after nearly three months of construction. The site faced extensive water damage in January during the storms and required both structural and cosmetic repairs.

The Rockwood team embraced the reopening with optimism and gratitude for the fresh start. Respite programs provide a place of healing for people experiencing some of the most challenging times of their lives, and being able to offer them a new space to heal is certainly a silver lining to the ordeal.
