Supported Employment Team Receives “Excellent” Fidelity Score

Cascadia’s Supported Employment Team, which helps clients identify career opportunities, apply for jobs, and maintain employment, earned an “excellent” (107 out of 125) score on their recent fidelity review in November, an annual audit of their program. The team’s hard work in offering an engaging mock job fair for clients in October, advocating for clients to local employers, and including diverse voices in their steering committee, all contributed to their high score.

Based on the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, the longstanding Supported Employment Program is one of the largest providers in Multnomah County and serves around 100 clients each quarter. Across Oregon, there are only 37 IPS Supported Employment providers. The IPS model is a nationally known, evidence-based practice backed by substantial research validating its success, and focuses on individual strengths, skills, and abilities, promoting individual recovery and wellness, and personalized services for long-lasting employee success.
